Company History

Chesham Chemicals Ltd was founded in 1980 to specialise in the supply of raw
materials to the UK Cosmetic and Toiletry Industry, since then the Company has
become one of the leading suppliers in this field.

We represent material producers from around the World and offer technical and
commercial support to our customers, with a team of qualified cosmetic chemists
with wide industry experience.

We are a member of the S & D Group of Companies that have worldwide coverage
in markets in the Pharmaceutical, Dyestuffs, Intermediates, Cosmetic, Food,
Industrial and Coatings markets.

Chesham's cosmetic business has expanded to cover the UK, Irish, German and
Central European markets and we have Chesham companies in Poland and
Germany.

The Botanical side of the business has developed, through the strong base of
products from Cosmetochem for Personal Care use.

We have also made use of our expertise in biocides and water-soluble polymers to develop business in industrial specialities via our Formulation Chemicals division.

In 2005, Chesham Chemicals Ltd became Chesham Speciality Ingredients Ltd. The name change more accurately illustrates the range of markets that we now cover.
